On a brief respite from the bustling streets and sweaty basements of Guelph, Ontario, four friends gathered in a tiny hut outside of town. In an inside just big enough for themselves and a few instruments, Tim Fagan, Steve Lappano, Steve Hesselink, and Ryan Carley circled a microphone and chanted the words, "in this place there's a place for you." The crazy summer of 2004 was growing old, and We're Marching On had found their voice.
This sense of unity, and crazy, found its way onto their debut E.P., Argh! Umph! Ahhh!, the bulk of which was recorded that same season amid the dizzying smoke of Toronto. Captured by the quick hands of venerable sound master Chris Stringer at the venerable Reaction Studios, the four central songs in this punchy collection show a band that is completely comfortable being anything, and is quite happy to fit it all in.
Singing with Bass, Keyboard, Drums and Guitar, the four boys of WAMO (We Are Marching On) find great joy playing with parts and bringing shit to life. Rock, Pop, and Experimental permutations come together to make an all-encompassing feeling, and a sound that welcomes anyone and everyone to join in.
"If you want we will rage on raw meat. If you want we will be irreproachably tender... not men but clouds in trousers. In return we want melodies to mess with, and songs to grow on. We want you to walk in the Megamaze, sleep in the Sciensphere, dance in the Something.... We're out of breath. Oh, We're out of breath...."

"...what this band lacks in meaning on paper they make up for in sound."
