The Lowest Of The Low
Biography

Legendary indie band Lowest of the Low, whose 1991 debut "Shakespeare, My Butt" has been honoured in the Top 10 Canadian Albums of All Time is once again on the road and bringing down the house!

NOW's reader poll of 2000 AND then again in 2015 voted band guitarist and lead vocalist Ron Hawkins Songwriter of the Year. In 2008 The Lowest of the Low was inducted into the Canadian Indie Rock Hall of Fame and awarded gold records for Shakespeare My Butt.

With the 20th anniversary of Shakespeare, Hawkins and his band mates in Lowest of the Low took to the road once again and completed a sold out spring 2011 tour culminating in a career highlight performance at Massey Hall.

The exciting news is the band, now with a slightly revamped 5-piece line-up, is enjoying creating and playing together more than ever. December 2015 tour dates in support of a *double-sided single (which the band is giving away at their website www.lowestofthelow) marked the beginning of a new chapter for Lowest of the Low. More recording and touring is planned throughout 2016.
