The High Dials make psychedelic pop shaded with shoegaze, electronic and folk rock influences. Since their debut in 2003, the Montreal-based act has had a fluctuating line-up centred around founders Trevor Anderson (singer-songwriter) and Robbie MacArthur (guitars).The band has a deep back catalogue and extensive tour history in both North America and the UK. Highlights from their live history include tours with the Besnard Lakes and Brian Jonestown Massacre, support slots with Echo and the Bunnymen, the Osheaga festival in Montreal as well as appearances at international events such as the Great Escape and SXSW.
The High Dials recently composed and recorded two film soundtracks and collaborated with legendary Rolling Stones producer Andrew Loog Oldham. In 2014, their song "Uruguay" featured in Season 2 of the hit Netflix series House of Cards. The band embarked on a tour of the UK and Ireland in build-up to the release of their latest album “In the A.M. Wilds”.
