Jaymz Bee is the perennial and literal man about Canada. With a past musical resume that includes national television performances as bandleader of CBC's Ralph Benmergi show, organizing numerous benefits and hosting his own radio show on JAZZ FM, Jaymz has now pulled together a new CD, "Seriously Happy". The cd features his all-star Royal Jelly Orchestra, with returning guest Peter Appelyard, accompanying some of Canada's brightest vocal talent.

This disc provides a rollicking good time from start to finish; with Jaymz Bee's high energy jazz takes on some of the 20th Century's happiest songs - including "Get Happy", "When You're Smiling", "I'm Lucky" and "Let The Good Time's Roll". Also featured is the debut of a new composition by Alex Pangman created especially for this recording. Jaymz is also active working with his latest vocal discovery Dee Kaye, who is also a featured vocalist on " Seriously Happy".

The Royal Jelly Orchestra is Peter Appleyard - vibraphone, Kevin Clark - cornet, Brandi Disterheft - double bass, Dave Dunlop - trumpet, Chris Gale - tenor sax, Dave McMorrow - piano, Christopher Plock - bass clarinet and flute, Terry Promane - trombone, Tony Quarrington - guitar, Great Bob Scott - drums and percussion, Richard Underhill - alto sax, Ross Wooldridge - tenor sax and clarinet. The singers on Seriously Happy are: Julie Michels , Dee Kaye, Alex Pangman, Christopher Plock, Sandra Caldwell, Lawrence Bayne, Lyne Tremblay, Big Rude Jake, Roger Clown , Dave Howard, Jennifer Ryan, the Great Bob Scott , and Dee Kaye.

Jaymz is once again readying his Royal Jelly Orchestra to hit the stage to support the release of "Seriously Happy" with an exiting all-star line up of players and singers that are guaranteed to wow audiences across the country with a dynamic jazz and vocal experience.
